The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, achieved a record collection of ₹1,365 crore in offerings during 2024. Devotees contribute generously in the form of cash, gold, silver, and foreign currencies to honor the deity. These offerings are meticulously sorted and accounted for at the state-of-the-art Parakamani facility, located near the Sri Varaha Swamy temple.
Daily, the hundi collections are transferred from the Srivari temple to this facility, where cash and coins are counted, and valuable items such as gold and silver are securely stored in specialized lockers. These assets are subsequently transferred to the TTD treasury in Tirupati on a monthly basis.
In comparison, the hundi income stood at ₹1,291.69 crore in 2022 and ₹1,391.86 crore in 2023, reflecting a steady rise in contributions. The temple witnessed an estimated 2.55 crore devotees in 2024, with 99 lakh devotees offering their hair as a symbolic gesture. Additionally, 6.30 crore individuals were served Annaprasadam (free meals), and 12.14 crore laddus, a temple specialty, were distributed.
Budget and Allocations for 2024-25
The TTD has outlined an ambitious budget of ₹5,141.74 crore for the financial year 2024-25. Key highlights include projected offerings of ₹1,611 crore and interest income of ₹1,167 crore. Significant allocations include:

Furthermore, TTD deposited 1,031 kg of gold in banks during the 2023-24 financial year, bringing its total bank deposits to 11,329 kg. Notably, 4,000 kg of gold has been deposited over the past three years, reflecting prudent financial management.
